Winner: IndieReader Discovery Awards

Chasing Legends Named Overall Winner, Sports Category, at the IndieReader Discovery Awards

I'm thrilled to share that Chasing Legends: Motorcycle Stories from the Podcast Trail has been named the Overall Winner in the Sports category at the IndieReader Discovery Awards (IRDA).

This one carries real weight. Now in its 15th year, the IRDA is one of the most respected honors in independent publishing, created to connect indie authors with the agents, reviewers, and industry professionals who can move a book forward. This year's cycle drew more than 1,000 entries, making it one of the most competitive in the program's history. To come out on top of the Sports category in that field is an honor I won't soon forget.

Chasing Legends was never meant to be a typical motorcycle book. It's part memoir, part oral history, and part meditation on what adventure really means, built from three years of interviews and tens of thousands of miles on the road. To see it recognized this way, alongside the BookFest and International Impact Book Awards, tells me the stories inside it are landing with readers far beyond the riding community.

Thank you to IndieReader and its judges, to every legend who trusted me with their story, and to the readers and listeners who keep cheering this book down the road. There's never been a better time to grab a copy, and a review or share goes a long way for an independent author.

Keep the rubber side down, Aaron Pufal
